A friend of mine, absolute fan of prog and psych rock, told me about a girl he met. She pretended to be into prog. He wanted to talk about krautrock, about Jehtro Tull, Pink Floyd, EML, whatever. She didn't know any of these bands. She was sure that prog rock was born in the 90's with bands like Dream Theater and Mars Volta.
He told me it was the only time he got really mad about music.
