I haven't listened to it in years but I really liked the song tonight the world dies. I don't think they will ever top city of evil, that album had great melodies and guitar harmonies and I still like playing drums to it, but after that they just started playing basic hard rock.

That's fine if you think that. I think I've said earlier I'm not fond of HTTK, Coming Home was probably the best thing about the album in my eyes.
I'd disagree with what you said about lyrics though. They're not Acid Bath poetic or TON personal, but compared to a lot of other bands (particularly mainstream) I'd have thought their lyrics were decent. Especially the last half of Nightmare. Maybe it's just because it isn't about their failed relationships I think they're decent, they're not BFMV level or anything haha.
