Yeah true though I could see that being the case with The Residents too, definitely had that impression from their documentary as well. What strikes me with the middle aged people that like Cardiacs, though, is that it seems like they all know each other. Like if Cardiacs still performed and I was somehow at a show of their's I feel like the entire audience would know one another and that I'd be asked my contact info.
