fav album cover? the quality of actual music don't matter
The music is shit though
Not even memeing
I'm not even a Hecker fan. I listened to the album based on the cover alone.
enjoyed most of it
>>66222082
>when you realize it's a face
Such a cool cover wasted on such a shit album.
Solid shit, great voice and atmosphere
>>66222360
I underestimated how bad this would be...oh god its awful
tfw Yeezy owned a British pub
coincidentally also my favorite album
Coolest album cover ever
probably my favorite album too
Great, healthy smile
>>66222564
Yanqui is so much better looking imo, but I def agree that the cover you posted is more recognizable.
I dunno why, but this has been my favorite for a while(Pic related)
Albums pretty good too.
>>66222772
Also my favorite from 2014
Album's a 10/10 too
It's such a cheap album cover idea and I love it
>>66222554
Yeah the band he had at the time was awful the songs are so much better with his Your Arsenal band.
>>66221946
that looks like moot
I always found the backstory behind the cover cool, plus its one of my favorite albums.
>>66222834
have any of the beatles ever said anything about this cover?
>>66222906
I've heard George and Ringo liked it and got the album.
>>66222601
Probably the best
Had no idea what I was getting into at the time.
One of the few YT recommended albums that turned out to be good
>>66222581
loveless + bottomless pit?
There's just something about this aesthetic that's always drawn me in. Great album, too.
>>66223197
bilinda butcher + death grips collab when? i would cum myself to sleep
the art is the best I can think of off of the top of my head
but this is like if megadeth or iron maiden were good as far as music
>>66223289
How the different star shapes at the bottom spell out B O W I E always fascinated me
and i don't even rly like this album
>>66223564
I'd like to think there's a story told in his three covers.
>>66222188
What album is this?
>>66223751
>>66223820
anyway it's Nearly God
happens to be in my top 5 too
love this cover
>>66224896
but she's not even asian lol wat a poser
its like thrift store art or something I love it
obvi
Good music too

>>66225370
homophobes
I love super colourful stuff
>>66223963
Nice choices, and Causa Sui is an awesome band too!
>>66225524
>Homophobes
>Not knowing that Milo said that they were just stupid kids, and apologised
>>66225544
Anamanaguchi is the shit. Good taste detected

>>66224170

>>66225437

>>66225971
Are you blind it's a tiger
>>66226034
this one is amazing
what's the story behind choosing this as their cover?
>>66225971
it's a zebra
I love all their art
9/11 stuff aside, the color and design is amazing and it always makes me feel.
>>66223853
Came here to post this
>>66226165
it's based on a sculpture called end of the trail
Lel . No In Utero or Nevermind .
Never even listened to it
>>66226996
Im a fucking idiot
Also:
>anything by Peter Saville
>any Boards of Canada cover
>Yung Lean - Warlord
>Antlers - Hospice is great too
>>66223963
My nigga
will continue to post until someone replies
>>66227029
seriously Geogaddi is gorgeous
I'm surprised nobody posted this already.
>>66223594
this album cover is absolutely fucking awful though
its like something a le random 13 year old girl would draw in her notebook and show her spork friends at lunch
>>66227114 (You)
>>66227133
Geogaddi is definitely my favorite, but MHTRTC and campfire headphase are so eerie and dreamlike, I love them. I even like the minimalist, road-signy Trans Canada highway art. BoC has amazing design
>>66227216
music fits the covers, too
eerie and dreamlike are the two descriptors I really associate with their music
>>66227263
Absolutely
>no unknown pleasures
wew
I guess they're technically singles but this is so cool. All of Jack White's solo single artwork connects. The black and white ones are from his album Blunderbuss, but they transition to the blue when they are from his album Lazaretto
probably this
>>66223738
it's the comeup, peak, and comedown of an acid trip in his three covers
>>66226686
definitely
Tie between this and The Nightfly
An nobody on /mu/ has the guts to post the original front covers of Blind Faith, Virgin Killers, or Witchfinder General.
>>66223404
When I first heard this album, I was initially disappointed because the front and back covers lead me to believe that this was a live concert album, but thankfully Search and Destroy is such a good song, and is the first song on the album that I liked it on the second listen.
might not even be my favourite Fall album cover but I really like it. they have a lot of great covers.
>>66222172
this is a sick cover yeah. the album was pretty good also.
>>66229033
>An nobody on /mu/ has the guts to post the original front covers of Blind Faith, Virgin Killers, or Witchfinder General.
Or maybe because they just aren't good covers lol?
>>66222016
I hate that album a lot but it has an interesting cover
it's so goood
>>66229074
Or maybe they just don't have the guts to do so.
I've never seen an album cover that so perfectly fits the theme of the music.
I don't know why I like it, but I do.
>>66222601
So aesthetic it makes me forget the shitty message the peddle in half the songs
most albums by tim hecker but this is my favorite
its the first piano drop that happened on MIT in 1972 btw
>>66222108
smierć, chujowym rapsom
>>66221946
>>66227138
This cover has always given me the heebie jeebies. Did acid during the middle of summer back in 2009 and at one point I looked into my bathroom mirror and my face started growing hair and im retrospect I looked remarkably similar to the cover of The Seer, it ended up being a horrible trip too. It's just unsettling for me to look at now to be honest. Fantastic album though.
>>66221967
The story behind this always makes me laugh

I think there was a viral marketing thing where the cover art was spray painted on the ground in random places around the time of the release. The day he died I went out for a walk through my university's campus and happened to come across it. It got me really emotional, not gonna lie.
