Here's my short spiel about Wildflower:
Don't it make you want to go out and create music?
This is music by musicians for musicians and people that just straight up see the joy in music. The Avalanches are a collective, and Wildflower really felt like a Gorillaz-type collaborative effort of an album. Makes me want to go out and make fun, happy, joyous music for myself.
Always with a slight edge of melancholy, of course. ;)
