I actually really like it and the video made me want to go to a rave or something.
I'm hyped. Ethan has always been the brains and he just replaced Alice with Alice2.0 so I have no doubts about the new album.

keep in mind that the frail and deicide in their soundcloud are demos, he's most likely going to edit them for the record differently. that's what he did with concrete too, if you listen to some of the liveclips of concrete played live it's a lot more rave-sounding. honestly kinda prefer the live-version

Only pulling your pisser. Their first is generally considered to be their best, followed by the second album. The third isn't bad, but it's definitely not as good as the other two. Listen to the first two and only the third if you liked the others. Don't forget Not in Love with Robert Smith, which is their best single.

they're all selftitled, but commonly refered to as I, II and III. I is more 8bit-sounding, II has more synths and distortion and III is a pretty average witch house-album. II is best imo, I is pretty much just a compilation of same-sounding singles, III is.. well, it's not bad, but nothing special either

Ethan's really stepped his instrumental game up.
Vocals are hit or miss for me. Sometimes missing the raw energy Alice had. Both are obviously not good singers, but Alice just seemed more into it.
Can't know for sure until the album, but I am excited for it. CC was the first ever band I was a fan of as a teen.
