A Night In Texas – The God Delusion
After The Burial – Rareform
All Shall Perish – The Price Of Existence
As Blood Runs Black – Allegiance
As I Lay Dying – Frail Words Collapse
Bring Me The Horizon – Count Your Blessings, Sempiternal
Shores Of Elysium – Entity In The Void
Thy Art Is Murder – Infinite Death, The Adversary, Holy War
but sweet jesus, the lack of any system behind the way you store your music is triggering me

You haven't even broken past entry-level top 40 bullshit. Do you even listen to music you fucking plebeian? You're nothing but a filthy capitalist consumer
>>66204295
Never been this triggered by a single post, I finally get the feminists on tumblr now.
the funny thing is that it's blatant that more than a few people berating the OP ITT are most likely around the same (under)age as he is
you should all kys
Haven't listened to metalcore since the years of my worst stage of the emo phase (dark and distant times, thank God they're over) but Of Mice & Men still is my favorite from the genre, especially their albums 'The Flood' and 'Restoring Force.
idk who you guys think you're fooling when the majority of you only listen to what pitchfork showcases as if that's any better lol...
>>66204952
>idk
>lol
>>>/r/eddit
And for the record, even p4kcore is better than most of OP's shitty music

Let's get you started

Dig into some melodic death metal since you like Amon Amarth and then go from there.
Also The Red Chord is good.
then leave /mu/ and find music on your own because this hellhole will just attack you or tell you to listen to death grips
>>66206085
I mean I can already hear all the gay singing and shitty rap-metal
Sorry, not your personal army.

>then leave /mu/ and find music on your own because this hellhole will just attack you or tell you to listen to death grips
death grips is better than all the music on OP's chart so i dont think it matters

> Bring Me The Horizon – Count Your Blessings, Sempiternal
if you're going to give these two as ones OP should listen to you might as well give their whole discography a go (excluding their most recent album, that's a disaster)
Suicide Season is a massive change from Count Your Blessings but the album really showed what the band are capable of doing and with There Is A Hell... and Sempiternal they mastered that sound

>asks for music recommendations in /mu/
>sorry not your personal army
what?
>>66206847
I explicitly refrained from giving recommendation solely on bands because if anyone hasn't listened to a band yet, you may want to give them a good first impression on them. that being said, Suicide Season was, for me, objectively the worst album I have ever listened to. I would never go that far to recommend it to anyone, not even ironically. There Is A Hell... wasn't as bad as Suicide Season, but I found it to be pretty underwhelming and boring. there wasn't anything really that caught my attention.
I wouldn't go as far as to entitle That's The Spirit a "disaster" for the simply fact, that it isn't bad, just plain underwhelming. they didn't try to push any boundries in their sound on that record, and made it especially easy to listen to. it's something that was aimed to appeal to the masses, something you would hear on radio stations. in the end it's just a easily forgettable album, but to no extent "bad"

Troll
Thy Art is Murder - Hate, Holy War, Infinite Death
Killswitch Engage - As Daylight Dies, The End of Heartache, First self titled
For Today - Portraits, Breaker
A Day to Remeber - For Those Who Have Heart, Homesick, Common Courtesy
Of Mice and Men - The Flood, Restoring Force
The Amity Affliction - Chasing Ghosts, Let the Ocean Take Me
Make Them Suffer - Neverbloom, Old Souls
Trivium - Ascendancy, Shogun, In Waves
Bullet for My Valentine - The Poison, Scream Aim Fire, Venom
Just a few metalcore and deathcore bands that I like, OP. Definitely check them out.
Hey guys what do you think of my expansive library of music, pretty patrrish right? xDD

>>66204295
>As I Lay Dying
>Killswitch Engage
>Arch Enemy
>Bullet for my Valentine
The Poison is their only good album imo
Also don't be a fag and avoid the big 4. I believe that every metal head should have a significant amount of either Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, or at least one of them.

Try Sabaton, Civil War ("Bay of Pigs" is good), Saltatio Mortis (Waschtum uber alles), Gloryhammer, and more
