Well personally i don't do recs because to me it seems just a little bit circlejerk-y, these threads are usually at least %50 I know from previous threads and whose music I have already listened to/followed/whatnot, etc, and when people "rec" each other that's usually the case, they're just pointing out what they already know is good and it doesn't really help anybody because it doesnt provide feedback. I mean it is nice for someone to reply to your comment with a "rec" but it doesn't really do anything so that's why I don't do it (and im not a trap/hip hop artist )
