Thanks, dog. Currently listening to you right now. Definitely my cup of tea desu. Enjoy the green bars.
This is my best friend's new album.
He's never visited 4chan but I love his music so much that I want to give it a little exposure.
I guess the best descriptor I can give it is House Suites. It kinda feels like a DJ mix, with track fades mid song, but the continuity mid song makes it feel far more fluid and cohesive. It gives me the kind of emotions I had when I first heard NMH or Burial, the kind of shit you get when you first have your ears opened to something new and exciting.
I'll hopefully be working on some music with him too.

Description:
Tragedy and viscera, established vicariously through slow, warm, looping and warping drones, glitches, bursts of noise, stinging synths and overwhelmingly profound levels of volume. In the ever expanding thirty eight minutes that creates this single track, Jorge embodies the strong foundations of these beliefs in what is Fauxiliary.
Now available for stream and download!
Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give Jorge some love. Thank You. :)

I really don't understand why there's always one Anon in every BC thread that has to shit on this guy... It's ambient noises. It's designed to be pleasant background noise. Does it really grab my ear, Is it my favorite genre? No. Does it make me cringe like a lot of the pretentious "Singer-Songwriter I think I'm the next Bob Dylan" bullshit that pops up in these threads? No.
This guy is trying to cultivate a certain sound and aesthetic and I would say he has succeeded in doing so with fair consistency across his Bandcamp Discography.
If you don't like the genre, just say "It's not for me". If you're pissed because you think his music is shit for the genre it belongs to, please feel free to share with us any constructive criticism you may have and/or what you think constitutes and example of "Good" Dark Ambient Classical Drone.

Nick from lattice is just butthurt because you actually make creative music I guess and Donald is pretty much Nick if Nick made half-baked pop punk and insults anyone who calls him out for being immature

you again? fuck off mate, no one believes you
Why do so many people go with Ambient music? Is it because it's easy to do compared to actual music?
>>66192435
>so many people
Compared to the giant portion of the pie chart labeled "All other genre's", most people don't make ambient music. It's not any easier or harder than other music. I personally can't fathom putting together an asymmetric piece of music that doesn't feature hooks, melodies, and choruses, so Ambient music to me seems harder. But it probably comes easier to some than others. Most people do what comes naturally to them. Try making a good piece of ambient music then report back to us and let us know how easy it is.
>>66192628
>Try making a good piece of ambient music then report back to us and let us know how easy it is.
All I'd have to do is record a washing machine for an hour, and make multiple tracks out of that. Seems easy enough.
>>66192743
Why are you so butthurt over it? Are ambient artists stealing your gigs? Stealing your girlfriend? Stealing your thunder?
If it really is as easy as recording a washing machine for an hour, then do it faggot.
Do it. Record it, split it into multiple tracks, put it on Bandcamp, and sit back and wait for all the praise that is sure to follow. Come on. This is your chance to prove to us how easy it is.
"Pssssh, it's not that hard it takes like zero skill, I could totally do it"- Said every minimally talented over-confident butt-hurt pretentious hipster-douchebag ever.
>>66192743
Pretty sure this is bait, but I don't think that a washing machine could make this >>66181219

Pretty sure it was little nicky lol
>>66193250
Nicky makes bull of heaven-esque ambient music though?
>>66187004
If only there were more people like you in the world
>>66181130
For electronic music you could maybe start with sampling.
Otherwise, I'd just buy a cheap guitar and watch a few YouTube videos. I taught myself guitar, but only to the point that I can play chords -- I learned some jazz chords years later, but you just should learn major, minor, maj7 and min7 chords and you'll have 98% of what you'll need to create rock, pop, etc.
I learned the drums when I was younger. I got up to speed in 6 months. It's fun, so don't be daunted by it.
These days I rarely ever play the drums, though, as I compose on my computer. I just fumble around on a keyboard and try to find some notes. Happy accidents happen

bretty good, I'd recommend maybe chilling out on the compression, maybe dont sidechain it to the bass or something.
