About the "faux-90s nostalgia shitshow'' it's kinda true, but "fashion" is all about it, something is cool 10 years later it's "THE MOST RIDICULOUS THING EVER WHY DID I WEAR IT GOD" and 20 years later it's cool again because it's ~vintage~.
