It's Scarufficore, but I swear, it's easily among the best. Puts Weezer to shame. Too bad it's one of those forgotten bands that have received very little attention.

All of their albums are really damn good with the exception of maybe Parallel Play and Commonwealth but even those have their moments. Personal favourite is Never Hear the End of It.

Will Birch from The Records made a power-pop compilation, called C-90, for Mojo in 1990 that's really good. Uses a bit of a loose concept of power-pop, lots of nice gems. Here's a mixcloud of it:
