It has that great slightly esoteric lyricism they always had. For Example, Cabinet man is about a man who melds him self with an arcade cabinet. Possible subtext about a man trapped in an arcade machine literally being played by the woman he loves. https://youtu.be/doqxzXEMiio

Yeh man. Another choice song called Reaganomics includes the line "Cause you're worth saving baby. Deregulating baby."
I don't know why I listen to Spirit Phone as much as I do, it just really grabbed me for some reason and now I can't stop listening to it.
spiral of ants is best song

DESERVE THE BEST THINGS
Spirit Phone is an incredible album. Lemon Demon has had many good projects. This is not the first.

YES this is my favorite album so far this year, never see it mentioned here
So many catchy synths and great hooks, it's just so fun and upbeat
Extremely head-noddable and just generally likeable
Cabinet man reminds me of billie jean in the way that there are so many individual sounds that are so cathcy and great thrown at you at the same time

he made some good plunderphonics albums before called mouth sounds and mouth silence

This was pretty good but overall the production felt very clean and not varied.
i can't get into his voice to be honest
