I sure as fuck can't tell the difference but storage is cheap and with FLAC you can later convert to different formats.
Also just use v0 mp3s, m8, can't tell the difference between v0 and 320. Harder to tell that difference than v0 or 320 to FLAC in a critical listening environment.
