Are there any truly dead genres that don't even have a revival scene? These days you have at least a few artists recording ragtime and rockabilly and Gregorian chants at any given time.

yes independant labels host their stuff there but shit artists without labels distributing their work who only distribute their music on bandcamp make up the majority of the stuff on there
