I'd been an Avalanches apologist through the hype, saying that Frankie Sinatra would sound better in context, that it wouldn't be reflective of the overall sound, that you couldn't judge the album from the low quality leaks, etc.
But even I have to admit that Wildflower is a piece of shit. Frankie Sinatra was just as bad, if not worse, in context, The Noisy Eater made me want to fucking kill myself, and I couldn't wait for the album to end.

i thought the production was interesting and detailed, the songs were well written, the guests were used well. there was maybe some slack on either side of folkstar but i think both madvillain and sily have amount of slack (with those albums its not that there are shitty parts exactly, its just that there are so many great moments that the just good moments can start to bore you)
