that's different, he's doing the 90's sound ironically/self-awarely. I think if anything his music is made cheesy by the conceptual parts and the sampling OJ simption trial type stuff. He's awesome though and I agree.

I think a lot of rock looks cheesy, the who, led zeppelin, but it's still great
