How do you feel about about people wearing band merch? I really want to buy a animal collective t shirt, would you guys make fun of someone if they wore a band t shirt?
Who cares if you want to wear band merch from an artist/band that you support just do it. I don't even see why it would be a problem.
If I liked the band I might be inclined to compliment them on their shirt. There's nothing wrong with wearing band shirts in my opinion.
That said, if you're going out to dinner at a nice restaurant or doing something more than just casual, don't wear a band shirt.

Absolutely no one cares, in any negative way at least. If I see someone with a merch shirt of an artist I don't like, I don't think much of it. It's just one little thing we would disagree about.
If I see someone with a merch shirt of an artist I like, that's great.
Wear whatever you feel comfortable in, provided it fits the occasion. Just walking through the streets or hanging out with friends, band shirts are a-okay. As long as it's not a straight up Rechtsrock band or something similar.
Almost my entire wardrobe is band merch. As long as they're not cringe poseur band shirts that you get at Walmart then by all means wear band merch.
