I always give everything a chance but I'm not going to listen to an hour long thread if I can already tell I'm going to dislike it by the songs I found on youtube.

It was like the 1 one movie in america for months. It has one of broadways best writers and was one of Disney's better original endeavors they've done it years. It has nothing to do with being hipster, you're just bitter towards pop culture.
I'm not saying it's the best kids movie ever but it is a sold and enjoyable film. Stop pretending you don't like it

holy ghost poster back with track by track. obviously not something i would normally listen too btw.
1. (hungry freaks, daddy) vocals are strange, def pretty groovy. i dig solos and i like this solo. kazoo outta nowhere. definitely some kind of political message i don't immediately get.
2. (i aint got no heart) sounds more lofi than previous track. the phrases sound militant almost. screaming outro yikes.
3. (who are the brain police) the beginning sounds like cannons or something. the brain police part and what follows is kinda creepy. more screaming yikes! and a little noisey and faint vocals sound like just groans i think he says something like "die". i think that's another kazoo. kazoo solo damn dope.
4. (go cry on somebody else's soldier) funny the beginning reminded me of some kinda henry rollins opening. I really dig the doowop feel! love doowop stuff. i guess it kinda juxtaposes cause it's a song about falling out of love but doowop usually is the opposite right? kinda funny spoken word part. it's a groovy song. the outro is funny and comfy. i'm saving this song, thanks.
5. (motherly love) kazoo is back guys. also dope guitar on this track. the track is kinda samesy and nothing really stands out other than what i said.
6. (how could i be such a fool) same kinda theme as two songs earlier, sounds beachy. i like the xylophones (right?) on this album. great instrumentals here, kinda cathartic buildups.
7. (wowie zowie) oh shit that organ i think is dope. i like this song kinda. there is definitely some humor in the vocals in the vocals here and go cry on somebody elses shoulder. did he say i dont even care if your dads a he? i like the wowie zowie part at the end, but i think fade outs are overplayed on this album, adding more real endings would help this album imho.
>continued...
>>66042292
it's a Ramone's album
not much more to it besides the fact that Joey Ramone is a little more gruff than usual at times. Kinda makes me wonder how Ramones would have sounded if they had gone more hardcore in the '80s

1st half is a little too club dance for me. loads of breakbeats and super high energy dance music, 2nd half simplify things, I find it more hypnotic and easier to step into, if I wasnt listening to it sitting at home in bed, then that first half my have hit me a little harder. gonna download for when I go back to school and throw potlucks to encourage folks to get real drunk and have fun and leave all the food they brought behind.

back again
8. (you didnt try to call me) loneliness and heartbreak a theme on this album? like the strings here cool touch. the twinkly guitar parts are also a nice touch, this is a nice track. the ending is kinda funny, not the first time on this album, not the last? another fadeout :/
9. (any way the wind blows) hey cool guitar phrases. very chill song. nothing special here, no fadeout!
10. (i'm not satisfied) jazzy little piano, this album is kind of sad lyrically? he definitely takes almost a suicidal stance on this track, which again goes against the instrumentals, interestingly.
11. (youre probably wondering why im here) that humorous vocal thing is back, kazoo solo! i like those. instrumentals really compliment the vocals here. im getting a feeling the back half of this album is decreasing in quality sadly. 3 kazoo phrases on this track like damn.
12. (trouble every day) bluesy country intro, a wall of instruments here which is cool. is that a harmonica? i like the harmonica. and i love the guitar parts here. this sounds like some kind of a jam sesh or something nix the singing. i'm not black but there's a whole bunch of times i wish i could say i'm not white. so this is political? progressive for 1966 i guess. dig the message. but it is definitely dragging on though lol.
13. (help, i'm a rock) okay the beginning is strange i don't know if it is gibberish or another language. groovy tho. screaming again haven't heard that. help i'm a rock. is this song just about bein a rock and the trials and tribulations of such. spooky ghosty vocals yikes. i think this is a three part track so i think this monkey and woman moaning start the next part. this is sexual. abrupt can't happen here. this must be the third part. this is really strange and scary. just like people talking and oh shit instruments. ok more really weird just people talking too much people talking. no no no no no. i'm sorry i don't like this.

> (???) tracks are blending and i don't know what's going on something about susie cream cheese. whistling alien noises alright. i'm guessing this is the end track. i guess this is too experimental for me lol.
back half i did not like but there was some really cool tracks in the beginning. i don't do number ratings.

Album did nothing for me until Seele Brennt which was cool. Then Der Tod left me confused. Screeching noises, jeez. Letztes Biest wasn't bad, either.

Not gonna lie; didn't like it. Beats are too simple for my taste, his voice slightly irritates me, and the mood just isn't my thing at all. The lyrics are fairly uninspired, and I hate that overused clapping shit. It's better than a lot of modern pop, but it's just not complex enough to hold my attention.

That was a quick reply, are you still on the first song? Glad you enjoy it, but the vibes change throughout the album, the middle part of the album trades some of its serenity and weirdness for simplicity and an almost obscene grooviness.

much more cohesive album than For Long Tomorrow, definitely prefer the overall production and the for the most part more stripped-down instrumentation. drum sound is fantastic as usual with toe. seriously though, what would they be without their drummer? that's where their main appeal lies for me

>>66049506
What the fuck is this shit? This is more generic than top 40. The same four chord progression, generic drum beats, boringly clean production, boring instrumentation, overly repetitive. Fuck you for making me listen to this cancer. Fuck you to hell. I'd probably give this a 3/10. Dude literally fucking die you plebeian scum fuck. Fuck. You.
