Hey /mu/, I'm going to a concert on Friday but I want to try to look for a concert friend on Craigslist.
I wouldn't mind going alone but it'd be nice if I had a concert friend of some sort.

If you're a man you probably don't have to worry about safety concerns, so I'd say just go and enjoy yourself. If you're a girl you can still go, but it depends on the venue and the band, and you might want to text a friend when you get there and when you get home so they know you're safe. That's what I do when I go to shows alone.
Meet people at the show to talk to. You already have a common interest stop being a sperg

I do things both ways, friends and no friends, and both pretty often. Alone is the best way to see a band you really like. Absolute best friends may be an exception. But if you're desperate to grab any warm body to come with? Not worth it.

if it is an event in which more than one act plays, then going alone kinda sucks, cause you have nothing to do between shows. if it is just one artist, then it's ok, i guess. that's based on my experience.
