Don't worry OP, I know that feel. What you have to do is realize a. Pitchfork scores are mostly paid and are irrelevant (they care more about image than music really) b. Music is subjective, so you can enjoy pretty much anything and anyone who says something is objectively good or bad is an idiot.
I used to be like you, I really liked pic related but it had pretty bad reviews all over the place. I just decided not to give a crap about scores and the funny thing is I found it's pretty liked here in /mu/. It's all subjective, don't worry.
