I liked this album better when it was called Laughing Stock.
>Laughing Stock
More ambience, more improvisation, more spiritual
>Pygmalion
>more minimal, more repetition, more dreamy

Did you even listen to the songs you posted? Like I said, Rutti is more focused on creating a dream like atmosphere through silence and repetition that slowly builds.
Taphead has this repetition at the beginning but very quickly diverges into way different stuff. More focused on atmosphere. And lyrics for that matter.

Has nothing to do with LS, kid.

Like honestly if you want to make a Talk Talk Slowdive comparison at least do Blue Skied An Clear and I Believe in You. You're not even shitposting correctly.

why did you respond to the thread? genuinely curious

Good post. There is a definite influence but plenty of differences to set em apart. If you're gonna accuse something of being derivative of Talk Talk (and honestly I kinda wish more things were) then Bark Psychosis' Hex seems like a more obvious target.

Rutti has way more in common with Runeii, m8.
>when you learn that pygmalion is just some greek dude and not a super cool fantasy lion breed
Chill out with the anti Slowdive shitposting you've started 3 threads in 24 hours and it's annoying af
