Opinions on this album vary so much because it has a consistent style and favorites really come down to personal preference. I wouldn't call anyone's opinion contrarian or tryhard. Bleep bloop pop with very well made synth sounds layered together. The sheer amount of synth layering on this album's far more masterful than anything AnCo or really most bleeps. Mainstream bleep bloop is too monotonous when it comes to that, and even a titan in the bleep world like Autechre doesn't layer like this album. It's like Beatles/Beach Boys style arranging combined with more modern electronic ideas.
