Miles Parks McCollum Aka betterLil Yachty, is an American hip-hop artist born on August 23, 1997 in Atlanta, Georgia. Yachty gained recognition for his hit debut singles 1Night and Minnesota (Remix) from his debut mixtape Lil Boat in 2016. In February 2016, Yachty debuted as a model in Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 fashion line at Madison Square Garden. On June 10, 2016 he announced he had signed a joint venture record deal with yachtyQuality Control Music, Solid Foundation, Capitol Records and Motown Records. He is a young artist who was a XXL Freshman 2016 and is continuing to gain recognition for his works. His fame did not come overnight as in an interview with e bro in the morning he spoke about how he had worked on getting his face recognized in Gerogia before his rap endeavors. Yachty has also had encounters with the law as stated in his song Minnesota where he stated “Pat, that’s my lawyer, he got me off them chargers 8 stacks for that boy, he took care of the boy, where he was referring to his trouble with fake credit cards.
