Hi /mu/.

I'm starting to study German and I was wondering if you could reccommend some good stuff in German. I know some of the mainstream bands, but I barely have a knowledge outside metal bands, which basically all sing in English.

I don't really care about the genre.

Vielen Dank!

These guys are good for learning German since they have simple and repetitive song lyrics.

german is not easy and requires a lot of investment

Die Toten Hosen? They're pretty big though so you've probably heard of them. If I were you I'd check out the top 100 list or something because popular songs usually have simple to understand lyrics.

lmao
Literally one of the easiest langauges to pick up besides a few retarded rules (numbers being spelled backwards, so 61 is "Einundsechzig", literally translated "One-and-Sixty")

Are you retarded?

Looks like you guys still haven't got to the grammatical cases.

Great music and the lyrics are sung really understandably (and not too complicated)
Just check if you actually have the german versions of their songs since many of them are also available in English

>>66003524
Wait, i think Nyktalgia has its lyrics in English, I mixed that one up.

Ich kann dir garantieren, dass die deutsche Grammatik zu den am leichtesten lernbaren grammatischen Systemen auf der Welt gehört. It's all very logical compared to f.e. french or polish.

Verben (und Wortschatz allgemein) sind missverständlich wegen die Menge an ähnlich klingen Wörter.

People also have trouble with articles and their declination.
For example in your sentence it would have been wegen DER Menge since it was genitive.

Imho the year 2015 was a great year for german pop music. It might be an idea to look at german charts from that time.
