I just couldn't handle the staleness of it. Granted it was a decided improvement on the atrocious Oshin with more detailed melodies and thicker, more substantive layers, I found the vocals equally gutless and weak, and the drums to be droll and emotionless. It's a shame because I loved the track with Sky and the one before it, but the sound got so old, and it didn't help that the project was over an hour long. After a while I got very impatient with it

For some reason I meant to listen to that Krallice EP and nearly six months later have failed to. Thanks for reminding me. I respect those who liked Vroom but it was a little to bubblegum for me. Although the over-the-top electro production with the booming drum hits on the title track was very enjoyable and the gave the track somehow even more charisma when Charli was already out there with the pep of a cheerleader

the guitar on this is one of my bigger pet peeves. Standard tuning harmonic composition is one of the lazier styles to me. Combined with a shrill and incessant note trilling, I think this song has a good 3 minutes of filler. I dont think its a coincidence that this ambient/psychedelic style doesnt reappear for the remainder of the album.
