I think it's best to wait to create a chart until you've developed your own taste for music. Too often I see something like Beefheart paired with Madvillain paired with American Football paired with Merzbow in someone's "top albums" and the only thing I can recommend is "try the rest of /mu/core"
I try to rec based on patterns of liked music and it's rather difficult in those situations

And now /mu/ has developed an elitist attitude against people who enjoy /mu/.
