Dammit, why did the last Clyp.it thread die? I was about to post.
Also, I'm officially declaring that vocaroo threads are now henceforth being replaced by clypit threads.
Anyways, lets start this back up. Post demos, covers, whatever you feel like.

lol i was just posting the same thread, i was away for an hour and it already disappeared? :(

anyway lets try and give some feedback this time yall

tried to write an MBV song
>>65890140
Sick loops my dude, sounds like some explosions in the sky. The high melody you play gets a little grating, maybe less picking?
Otherwise real pretty
>>65890140
Really dug that. Maybe might verge a bit too much on crescendo-core territory but its not like we're trying to put out anything revolutionary in these threads so good job.
Hey gang, here's a little love song by my m8 and I.
https://clyp.it/i3ytfgfs
Any tips for improvement?
>>65890393
im actually super impressed with this it sounds like it could have come straight off of isnt anything/loveless, good shit man
>>65890476
and thanks for the compliments guys, yeah i cant into songwriting for some autistic reason so all the stuff i end up playing is made up of just loops and noodling around so it ends up coming being super post-rocks which i really havent listened to much of but from what i have im really not a huge fan lol. got any solid album recs for the genre?
>>65890542
uh
that was strange.
Okay, I decided to just run through this batch of songs that I currently have written. I'm slightly sleep deprived and only did one take each so I apologize in advance for the mistakes.
Let me know if any of them aren't total shit.

Wow, that was great, and surprisingly professional sounding. You got a bandcamp or anything?

pleb
>>65890678
I'm not the biggest post rock fan either, but you could probably just go through this chart. 3rd wave is probably the closest to what you're doing.
This is something i've being doing at home with a 4 channel mixer, a USB interface and my Silverstone guitar, i wanna start a band with this sound, a lot of riff, less powerchords, something fun,
https://clyp.it/5npm4v1e
>>65891930
could be fun, I mean nothing really crazy going on there, but its certainly the kind of thing a band could build off of.
Though I kind of hate the sound of synthetic drums, but I get that you're probably just using them as a placeholder.
>>65892136
Exactly, it's just like a placeholder, but if you know how to mix the EzDrummer the result it's amazing, it may take off that "Mechanic" sound and make it more "Human". Of Course, a Drum Plugin could never replace a drum recorded in a studio.
But when you live in a third world country it's very useful

c'mon fellas lets get this thread a pumpin
>>65892662
i think you spelled it wrong, but okay here u go
>>65892882
top kek
>>65892882
Do you think this is a fucking game?
Here's a song that I posted an unfinished version of last thread, and I've since finished it.
https://clyp.it/sazxl0vr
How does it sound? What tone/mood does it feel like too you? This is just a quick rough recording.
Also, I don't have a title, any suggestions
Forgot to give feedback
>>65890140
Really nice. Reminds me of Do Make Say Think a bit
>>65890393
Great, nice production
>>65891206
These are good, you have a nice voice
>>65893552
Still sounds like sourdough bread.
Wish I could hear the vocals a bit better, or perhaps with a stronger melody. I know it seems like you have a bit of a limited vocal range, but I still think you could work with a bit more within it. What you have is nice though.
>>65894285
Yeah the vocals came out really quiet for some reason, but it was just a real quick recording.
As for the vocals, I'm not even really sure of my range, but I stayed low and a bit monotonous in this one on purpose. I'm trying to get at some creepy/unsettling sort of vibes. Pre production it may not seem so apparent, but hopefully I can make it that way in the future.
Also, I can go high with my voice, but I just hate the timbre of my voice when I go up into my head voice, so I guess I don't do it often
>>65894591
okay, that makes sense. I was gonna mention some of the sort of dissonant sounding guitar notes in there, but now that I know what you were going for they work pretty well.
>>65894759
Yeah, the guitar is actually de-tuned.
In the end, it doesn't actually sound strikingly out of tune, but it's still dissonant so it's cool
