Some of it is like extremely monotonous atmoblack, which I like. Coldworld and Make a Change, Kill Yourself do it better than others, who just go into the shocking side of it too much for it to really be enjoyable. I'll admit it is an acquired taste.

Check out Xasthur, it's like black metal but sad instead of angry. I like the atmosphere and muddy production, and more spaced-out, passive feel than traditional black metal.
