Does /mu/ truly hate Arctic Monkeys or is it just their last two atrocities?
I actually even like the last 2 albums.
First 2 are essential nostalgia core with early Franz Ferdinand, Maximo Park and Editors, I don't care for the rest

AM had some filler yes, and it's probably their worst album on the basis that the rest are quite competent, even if SIAS can get a bit boring at times. That being said, AM has some really fucking good high points. If the entire album was as good as the first 4 songs it would easily be their best album.
personally I'd like to see some more songs like pic related, which btw is a far better summer album then SIAS.
