MEME STAR
Bowie. Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic album, but the circumstances of it's release and creator causes massive feels. It really is a great album, but anything released right before a legendary artist's death is going to be so.
Blurryface
>>65851556
this isn't even overrated on /mu/
juts end your life OP right now
>>65851681
I've seen this before, what is it?
>>65851839
Yes it is.

I've only ever seen one other thread talk about this album and it was saying it was shit as well. Show me examples where it received high praise recently.
>>65851681
but it's great (definitely better than their 2 previous releases)
how it has been popularized on /mu/ btw? spammed or memed by Fantano?
>>65851811
Blurryface is from 2015.
>>65851733
it's a great album because he used his imminent death has a ground for the atmosphere & lyrics of Darkstar core: it's quite unique. And some songs are some of of the best he wrote.
>>65851556
God damn it I hated James Ferraro's new album.
this piece of shit
bottomless pit was really forgettable
This, The Glowing Man and Bottomless Pit
>>65853954
Yeah man that was another disappointment for me desu. That's the best way to put it. A forgettable release.
>>65853967
wow you beat me to it
>>65853977
the surprising thing is that it's their third highest rated release on RYM, and 2nd highest full album.
>>65854016
Not surprising considering it's one of their albums with fewer ratings. It has almost as many ratings as Fashion Week. This means their other albums were rated by a larger audience and BP was rated by their fanbase mainly.
>>65854067
>their most recent release has the fewest ratings
Big fucking surprise!
It's actually one of my favourites of the year so far. It hit me as good right away, which is rare for an album on the first few listen.
>>65853865
granted i haven't heard more than 2 songs right now but as a side question, did you like OPN's R+7?
>>65853969
I honestly really enjoyed AMSP, and there wasn't anything really wrong with Glowing Man, but it didn't even feel like a Swans album honestly.
Bottomless Pit was just not good and dg should have broken up when they said they would
>>65851556
was that weedy miley cyrus album released this year?
if so, 'tis the correct answer
>>65854133
Yeah I digged it.
>>65854114
I'm a fan of Death Grips but this album didn't grab me like the others did.
>>65851811

Sycamore Tree might be the most dread-inducing interpretation I've ever listened to. The album was solid.
