Shallow, easy listening pop music of the same caliber as all the other bands whose members are photogenic and that young girls flock to. They get all the special snowflake, tumblr twenty somethings as followers because of their added gimmicks of looking emo yet trendy, and having pseudo "deep" lyrics that adolescents and young adults who don't want to grow up think about. It's not challenging and it's as run-of-the-mill as you can get. They're not going to define a generation and they're not going to have any impact whatsoever than a quick 15 minutes of fame thing. There is nothing musically or lyrically interesting about this. They COULD do something interesting and challenge their audience, but they don't. They squander their potential by making juvenile and forgettable music you'd hear at a hair salon or shopping at Journey's at your local mall.
