How can I get into classical music? Where should I start? I saw a picture guide some time ago. Also, it would be nice if these albums were available on spotify

I don't really listen to classical so I wouldn't know
Pick 3 composers.
Try a selection of solo / chamber / orchestral / choral works.
See what you like most.
Explore further in said style.

Try some of these if you like. The Bach art of fugue in particular is excellent.

two schools of thought in the "how do i get into x" be it literature/ classical music ect
1. chronologically
a. go on wikipedia, find a list of chronological composers and
i. listen to there entire oevre. (very autistic)
ii. listen to there most important pieces (rather autistic)
b. find a list of the best composers (loosely chronological) and see what you like (quite autistic)
c. buy a book about classical music canon and flip through (the correct amount of autism, i recommend this option)
2. do what you want
a. randomly click on composers and pieces and
i. work backwards, following influences
ii. work forwards, following progession
also 3. follow a music courses syllabus, only relevant if you want to learn music(ology)
