My room smells like vomit because sometimes I eat too much and vomit it back up when I lie down. I have these little cups (empty jello containers usually) that are filled with vomit.
I keep them as a reminder, to try to stop myself from eating too much. But if I go out it still happens occasionally and the process restarts.

I insist its an appetite suppressant in a couple of ways but I do think its best when combined with a pre-planned meal diet. I'd agree that munchies increase consumption but only by "zoning out" while you're already eating like a buffet, etc. would be particularly bad.

Its also a very widely recognized anti-nausea which is the main symptom of hypoglycemia which can occur with some people when they're really hungry.
I'm also such a big believer that its possible there's also some additional placebo effect but I insist thats at the very most 20%
