LGBT+ was a mistake.

It's catchy shit that scratches my queer-music-itch. I give it like an 8/10, but it's not something I listen to too often.

I saw them live last Monday.
I thought it'd be shit, but they played a tight set, no doubt the best of the show.

they seem like they'd play a tight set - their music's more detailed than you'd expect from a band this gimmicky

Was just posting about them.
I appreciate that they have a pretty solid foundation in music. Seem like music school kids.
It's also refreshing to see queer people who are more interested in being themselves than aping tumblr trans trends. Both in their presentation and their music.
I like them, and I would see them live.
their tiny desk set is killer and they have a lot of attitude

Agreed. Although I've concerns about how many people will give them a chance, considering their obvious, very heavy-handed aesthetics and politics, and some of the especially vocal fans they're doomed to attract. A lot of people may end up missing out.
I doubt I would've given them a chance had I not incidentally saw them perform live.

I think that queer music is just one of those genres doomed to small fanbases with insufferable fans, like harsh noise and DSBM
