Holy shit, that soundscape, it's arguably the production tour de force (amidst the tour de force that was the second half of that album) and the sense of haunting isolation that it conveys reminds me of windy late fall nights in the inlets of the Maine coast with the Stars reflecting off the water while the wind whips bay and makes you feel like the only person on the planet in a way that's unmatched by anyone short of Fever Ray.

Yeah, Aerial is fourth place for me. All I can say is listen to The Dreaming again. It is a little weirder than most of her other albums, but I love it. Kate Bush is one of those artists that I enjoy more and more each listen. Familiarise yourself with it slightly and come back and BAM it just clicks and it's amazing. At least it's like that for me.

They just require breaking in. My dad was a huge Kate Bush fan and always played it when I was younger, which kind of broke them(everything pre-Aerial) in for me. So I always loved those earlier albums as soon as I revisited them at like 16, but wasn't that into Aerial and later 50 words for snow. But now I love those albums because I've broken them in.
