Because there may be a drop in quality. They shouldn't have to try to keep to a schedule and release an album within a time frame. They should take as long as they possibly need to perfect their albums.

Colours is perfect. If you don't like that song then you probably don't "get" Avalanches and only like SILY because other people tell you you should. The sampling is so brilliant and every listen reveals something new. Kind of reminds me of listening to ETOH

Honestly I agree. The Avalanches have such an incredible attention to detail that's hard to find anywhere else.
The feeling of Colours harks back to Summer Crane off of SILY. to me personally. Even Frankie Sinatra has the Avalanches charm when you dig through it.
