Love these guys! Saw them open up for fidlar and they blew them out of the water. Super high energy live show and all the guys in the band were super nice

Anyway I guess to add to the phx scene, Draa, Sun Hex, Injury Reserve, Pro Teens, Nanami Ozone, and James Band are all my favs from here. But yeah Pboy Mbaby are pretty incredible live

For sure. There's some really really great stuff coming out of phx right now. I mean there has been for a good two or three years now but if phx got enough exposure some bands could get moderately famous. I know Noisey did an article on Draa like a month or two ago which was really cool. I have no idea how Draa isn't huge yet, they're fucking incredible
There were two highly forgettable generic indie pop / indie rock bands near me.
One released an album and then dissolved, the other is still doing gigs at clubs frequented by uni students.
I'd like to start a post-punk band but the only other decent young musician near me is a drummer who is constantly high on fuck knows what drugs and so probably would waste most of the time and money.

They play a really nice instrumental jazz fusion, somewhat surfrock. There's no music scene here because we are overrun with old people. Hoping they can get a following in the philly area.
