I'll try my best.
Their self-titled is obviously their most minimal and lo-fi album.
Devotion is mainly a refinement of s/t. I think it's their most majestic album and one of the two with a very clear finale (title drop in Home Again). Both s/t and Devotion are very slow.
Teen Dream has the most dance-like and every album from here on has a droning synth in the background.
Bloom combines the majesty of Devotion with the dance of Teen Dream.
Depression Cherry strips away a lot of the beachy twangs and adds more dream. Some songs on DC are very different from anything they've done before (Sparks, PPP, Days of Candy). Less dance and also has a very clear finale with Days of Candy.
Thank Your Lucky Stars returns to the beachy twangs and adds synth drones. Sounds more like Devotion 2.0 than Teen Dream 4.0.
