YHF is just kinda an indie album. On par with Arcade Fire.
Now, Best Coast - Crazy For You represents a real masterpiece and landmark. Washed in haze and post-irony, its simplicity covers ground from The Beach Boys to the post-ironicity of today's indie bands. Lyrics so post-self-aware that they make you think, while also appealing to such a simple, basic desire that is common within most men and women. Absolutely amazing.
