Every time I listen to music I just "hear" it. All I do is hear sounds and kind of enjoy them, but I never "feel" them. I assume my enjoyment of music would be bigger if I feel the music I listen to. How does one achieve this?

if you shut out all outside distractions (i.e. turn off /mu/), you will have no choice but to feel the music in a more profound way, unless you're really just not digging it.

close ur eyes => open ur mind
Have listening to music be all that you're doing. For me, laying in bed with my eyes closed is a good way to get more out of it, also sitting outside like in a park.
Listen to Joni Mitchell's Blue and/or Tom Waits' Blue Valentine while drinking alone
