>Linkin Park will never make a good album again because pic related was met with backlash by their 12 year old fans who liked generic nu-metal shit

The interludes are fine by me, but I'd take Blackout and The Messenger out.

I actually agree with this so much. Album came out when I was about 14-15, so Linkin Park was still very much a band I was into and a lot of people I knew were into.

Everyone I spoke to about it said it was shit, but I never understood how.

It's a concept album about Nuclear war, with them completely changing up their style of music by putting a heavy emphasis on a more electronic style.

I just hated electronic music in general back then, so Linkin Park making an electronic-oriented album felt like an abomination to me. I was younger and liked Linkin Park, Disturbed and a lot of other shit I'd be ashamed to say I liked now.

Nowadays the older LP albums don't appeal to me anymore while A Thousand Suns stands as a pretty good electronic rock record. Years ago I would never imagine this opinion to be mine.

>the only reason people defend this album is because they're diehard Linkin Park fans
>even though Linkin Park fans hated the album the most
>even though tons of people who hate Linkin Park think this is their only good album
Who is he fucking kidding?

He complains that the interlude tracks are short and a "waste of space", guy's probably not familiar with concept albums at all.

Although Empty Spaces is pretty worthless even for a concept album interlude track.
