Blackstar - was good, but after like 3 full listens moved onto other stuff.
AMSP - one of my favorite releases this year. Plenty of replay value.
Terminal Redux - love this album too.
elseq1-5 - have it downloaded but haven't listened.
Live in Toronto - need to download.
Jumalten aika - was good but forgettable compared to their other stuff.
untitled unmastered - people meme on it but it was pretty fucking good. Great features and some standout songs.
Bottomless Pit - liked this as well, but like Blackstar gets old after a few listens.
The Impossible Kid - Starts off great and then kind of teeters off. Great for a short car ride.
Varahtelija - downloaded but haven't listened.
Literally only 2 great albums and 2 good ones.
Honestly AMSP should be number one.
Just speaking musically it's better than Black Star. But I get the context, so I can see why it gets the nod. Sucks, seems like every time Radiohead puts out potentially the best record of their career, something completely fucking strange ends up overshadowing it.
The rest is a goddamn tire fire. Though honestly it's been kind of a shit year for music so far anyway. Everything else I was anticipating so
hard kind of ended up being a bust (see: James Blake)

moon shaped snooze has literally no replay value what are you talking about
>muh string arrangements
>muh chord changes
lediohead faggots will defend this

how are these negatives?

sorry somebody made an aoty thread so I thought it'd be polite to delete. Its fuckign awesome but Sia was my 2014 aoty so I will concede there's the possibility that I'm biased but so far I havent poked too many holes in it.
you think thats bad? this is currently first on my list to bump dylan leblanc

is Blackstar actually good or is the rating just because of his death?
>>65651876
>>65651969
I'd love to see a chart of what you listen to.
>>65652040
I definitely thought it was his best album in decades. I thought The Next Day was a total piece of shit, I was honestly surprised Bowie still had it in him
>>65652040
Little column A, little column B.
I mean, it deserves its rating, just saying idk if it would've gotten the same attention without the circumstances. But hey, cool that his last album and literal swan song got the recognition it deserves.
>>65651969
You can't even give any proper criticisms for why it's so offensive to your delicate sensibilities, lol.
>>65651876
>>65651969
holy fucking shit bro
>>65652050
You're only proving his argument when you claim someone who doesn't like Radiohead has some sort of inscrutable entry in his tops...
>>65652141
Not that anon, but that dude has literally made no convincing "arguments" for why AMSP is bad apart from the >muh meme.
I didn't think the album was great but that dudes embarrassing himself desu.
>>65651893
I know he might as well be saying muh notes
>>65651969
> I don't like it, therefore everyone else must be forcing themselves to like it!
>>65652175
I don't agree with his position on the opinion spectrum but his question just reeks of insecurity. Might as well ignore him
>>65652191
>implying notes aren't for plebs
>>65652195
Yeah, that's true. Plus desu I always think it's a bit of a cop-out when ppl ask for charts from someone they disagree with because it becomes a no-win situation for the other anon. Either they don't post their charts and get criticized for it ("he couldn't back himself up!") or they do and their choices get made fun of - regardless of quality - just on the basis that they disagreed with the original poster.
>>65651876
>muh chord changes
don't you just hate it when chords change during a song ugh fucking pleb-tier amirite?
