Indeed my friend, it was a good run.
Tim Buckley is nice, was never a huge fan of Mike Oldfield though. He just feels too cheesy for me. Like the exclamation of the different instruments as they come into play on Tubular Bells. Just urgh.
Check out Embryo - Rocksession, great krautrock with a strong jazz presence.

I see you finally listened to Forseti, nice. How did you like it? Its still my favorite neo-folk album at the moment. Darkwood is also nice.

Tim Buckley is my fav
That particular Mike oldfield album is super duper tacky but I love his earlier stuff
>>65646530
hard to choose
probably Reims 1974 but I have some emotional attachment to that one
Analog Overdose 3 for more modern stuff
I love "X" too but idkkk

yeah both are good though I think I prefer Notwendfeuer over Windzeit arrangement-wise. I thought both would have done better without the kind of pointless vocals though, honestly.
also the voice is the best part of Tubular Bells, such a good elocution that man has

I'm pretty lukewarm when it comes to Zeuhl, but this was actually pretty enjoyable, thanks for the rec.
Also yeah Oldfield had a good ear when picking the master of ceremonies for Tubular Bells.
