Let's get a Muse appreciation thread going
>inb4 Muse sucks
Maybe, but fuck off regardless
>>65642057
Muse is a poor mans Radiohead stuck in a teenage angst period and addicted to Alex Jones
>>65642080
why are you trying to pretend that muse are any different from garbage you like like coldplay?
theyre both fucking terrible kill yourself
>he listens to Muse
>>65642080
Fuck off montie, the only radiohead esque muse album is showbiz, all other comparisons are memes
>>65642057
Post the last muse album you thought was good (pic related for me)
the only muse song i ever heard was uprising and that's only because espn or abc was playing it during college football games.
it was meh.
Plymouth lads aren't they?
THIS SHIP HAS SAILED FAR AWAY
I love Muse too! :D

The second half of this album (except Feeling Good) is decent, otherwise muse is pretty garbage
Origin of Symmetry is a really fun rock album and I won't be convinced otherwise, outside of that, Absolution and BH&R are solid with occasional great tunes. Beyond that they're complete fucking shit.
>>65642423
Their only good album, honestly.
>>65642107
Almost. The Resistance is awesome, especially Exogenesis Symphony
>>65642473
hows middle school?
>>65642473
Nice, just finished frosh year at uni
How's 10th grade?
>>65642473
The Resistance is not awesome. My friend that I love dearly loves this album and always says, "I would follow them into a revolution, you know", and every time I want to jump off something really tall. All albums before this one were okay though.
>>65642423
Feeling Good is their best song, and only because they didn't even write it.
>>65642530
Really? The only song that I think is sub par on that album I Undisclosed Desires. Even I Belong To You is an enjoyable pseudo-French song
>>65642093
Coldplay is much better
>>65642827
Fuck off Montie, Coldplay is literally a babified version of Muse
>>65642057
I've been a Muse fan for probs 10 years. I like basically everything until their past two albums, 2nd Law and Drones, although I do like a couple songs off of Drones.
I think they have become a bit too flat/obvious for their lyrics. They have always had the anti-government messages, but their lyrics were generally more thoughtful. Not sure if it's gonna get better from here.
Black holes and OoS are my two favorites.
>>65642568
>putting cover songs in your own album
Did that ever work?
>>65642898
They are literally nothing alike and if you think that A Rush Of Blood To The Head is bad then you don't like good pop rock
>>> Autbjint Musucks
The worlds most average band with really die hard fans for some reason
>>65642473
this album was so shit I actually laughed during almost every track, it's crap m8
They're all extremely talented musicians writing very mediocre lyrics
If you can't enjoy absolution then get the fuck out of here
>>65642057
basically this generation's rush
>>65643687
Amen. Do you reckon they'd be better off as a "serious" band rather than just "fun pop rock time" stuff?
