We can talk about terrible fucking bands like BOTDF, ICP, Falling in Reverse, Emmure, Colt Ford, etc. all we want, but reflecting on my hellish experience working at a Safeway, I've come to the conclusion that bad music is actually better than bland music. When I hear aggressively bad music it kinda feels like eating overly sweetened cheap junk food or doing hard drugs you know might ruin your life. But they're still entertaining, if only in the someway as shitty daytime cable television. With bland music, though, it feels like your soul is dying. I think this is because bad music may be cheap, but it has individuality and vibrancy. Bland music has no individuality and feels lifeless... it can suck the life out of you, if you're exposed to it too much.
