What's the new cutting edge underground electronic genre following the succession of breakbeat hardcore, drum and bass, UK garage, dubstep?

this is the best question on this board. I'm hoping it is a hybrid genre using elements of trap music, metal, trance, ambient, and maybe some future funk/upbeat vaporwave elements.

Visual aesthetic should be minimalist, grey, and very clean with sharp edges.
