Has music influenced your social/political beliefs ie veganism, anarchism, altistic right winger, sjw shit etc
when i was 13 my politics consisted entirely of rage against the machine lyrics
that's it i think. i guess being into music and being interested in/looking up to independent musicians has kind of caused me to place a lot more value on enterprise, dedication, and independence than i had done previously.
not really i became an sjw on my own
but it helped me like music of like-politics even more

I was already a leftist but Yugoslavian patriotic songs turned me into an authoritarian socialist.
>listens to wagner once
I've listened to metal my whole life so It's really easy to see that the best musicians are usually the worst people. So no, I do not consiously let lyrics influence my thoughts.

no. any time anyone tries to combine art with politics it just makes me cringe.
Crass taught me that anarchism isn't just survival of le fittest, I think my political views all started from there
No.
But then again I don't know what my politics are anymore.
I hate capitalism, war, homosexuals/trannies, and immigrants. I don't know who to vote for. I liked Bernie, but now it's probably going to be Trump.

???
I don't know what you're trying to imply. That I have to be a no borders anarchist in order to have beef with capitalism?
Well I'm not. Oh well.
I don't want people from savage cultures ruining my country. It's as simple as that.

what do you think are the general goals or purposes of socialism? i assume you're a socialist if you're anti-capitalism
>>65601002
public ownership of means of production
Maybe you think all socialists have to be communists? I'm not internationalist.
More to the point, ideology bends to suit the needs of the people, not the other way around. I'm not really interested in what I should think "as an (x)" I have yet to hear a reasonable argument for importing unskilled third world labor into post industrial economies. At best, these people would serve as accelerationist cannon fodder. But the best still isn't good enough.
I learned a lot of anarchist things, thanks to Crass.

Sorry for late reply
>Maybe you think all socialists have to be communists
No, but you're saying public ownership of MOP which is pretty much the communist ideology, where socialism more in general is worker ownership
But what I mean is, what is the goal/purpose of this? Public ownership of MOP is good, but what is the thing that it intends to achieve / why is it good? I'm implying that in general the reasons that it's good is diametrically opposed to countries/borders/nationalism, and especially xenophobia--although I don't know if by "hating immigrants" you mean hating the action of immigration or hating immigrants themselves.

"Immigrants" is synonymous with people from the Islamic/African/South-American world. I don't doubt that they have their own struggles to address, many of which are similar to ours, but they don't belong in white countries. Wherever these people show up, things get worse. End of story.
