do you like koto music
I do
>>65596096
ssssssssss
gosh I really should listen to hawkwind
what's a good one to listen to
ps I liked death, the vocals were pretty cool and the guitar too but sometimes the drums were a little pitterpattery you know what I mean?
not thick enough or beefy enough or something like that
>>65596111
that sounds really nice
do you like die kreuzen
they don't really have much to do with einstürzende neubauten but I always mix them up anyways
>>65596179
never listened to desu
do you like them?
>>65596179
if you liked Emergency & I, check out Change by them
>>65596096
S is something you'd most likely hate, a solo "diary" with rather rough guitar lines and singing. Touching but not exactly wondrous in technical ability or composition.
>>65596111
Nice trips
I feel really really really happy actually
A walk sounds great though
Nature makes me feel whole
>>65596179
The koto album is pleasant but not much more. Just interesting because it's from 1941. I do like koto music on the whole though.
You should try Katsumasa Takasago - Flower Dance, it's incredibly soothing.
>>65596232
their early stuff is nice pretty straightforward hardcore, which I really really love
https://youtu.be/MAAI5dLvuxE
I haven't really checked out their later stuff but supposedly it gets a bit weirder and post-punk/alt rocky maybe you'll prefer that
>>65596247
I do like change! I think I'm a bigger fan of ! and is terrified, you know the more post-hardcorey kind of stuff
how did you like their newest one a year or two ago?
also have you ever heard shudder to think?
https://youtu.be/V5VLhwR4Y14
>>65596381
I will do for sure
I'm still new to Japanese instrumental trad I usually prefer the folk singing stuff but koto music is so gorgeous
>>65596467
If u like singing stuff have you heard Umekichi? Nice blend of the two styles
>>65596111

Props to you for the Clifton Chenier.
I love Zydeco.

Can't say about the rest, though.

Loving the blues on there. Gotta check those out. Blue albums w/ cool covers are great 9/10 ten. Seems dumb to say but honestly blues is a genre where if the cover is great, the music is generally good
>>65596111
Trilogy is a fantastic project to be honest. Echoes of silince, >>>>>
Weeknd stays influential
>>65596247

Haven't listened to the glowing man leak, but the threads where people have generally seem to say that it's just about as good as their last two albums.

>my intro to zydeco
Clifton is still the best in my opinion. Modern Zydeco is kind of a let down; the whole thing - traditionally - was accordion, drums and singing (with a some guitar thrown in sometimes); it was super stripped-down.
Modern Zydeco is bursting at the seams with musicians, the accordion often gets buried behind guitars, over-amped drums, and horns and fiddles. It's a drag.
One artist of note right now is Cedric Watson. His stuff is still pretty true to its roots.
