The only time you can really get into Kent is when you're a melodramatic teenager who has already listened to every Radiohead album and want more.
If you're in any other point of your life you realize how fucking empty and vapid the lyrics are and that the music tries so hard to be bombastic and thug at your heartstrings that it shits itself .
I'll admit that Isola is fairly solid still and that there's a song here or there like Noll, Elvis and Beskyddaren that are great, but overall it's pretty embarrassing.
I also love how the one time they tried to be a bit more adventurous and try something else with synthpop influences the pleb crowd screamed in agony.
