Even though I like TNT and Stereolab in general, none of the albums on the orange side are essential to pop culture and all of them have other similar albums you can listen to instead, maybe even albums that are doing 'the same thing but better'.
The blue side is mostly divisive popular albums that some people love and some people hate but they're all pretty much one-of-a-kind.

people who say orange are why this board has gone to shit. The orange side has some of the best rock albums ever in it (Neu, Residents, Tortoise, Robert Wyatt, etc). The blue side is just trendy pop that will be forgotten.

It's definitely not all great: they've released so many albums that many of them are redundant or nothing special. But Not Available, Eskimo, and Meet the Residents are all classics. I also like Mark of the Mole and a few others
